Rwanda - Today
Present day Rwanda is nothing like it was during the genocide. Murders are still going on, but not like a few years ago. Today, Rwanda is in an "iffy" condition. Another genocide can break out at any moment, just because of the situation Rwanda is in. Two extremes cannot agree with each other, and they both hate each other. These two extremes are the Hutus and Tutsis. Although Rwanda is a much safer place, it must be watched carefully. A single event can trigger another mass slaughter.
Rwanda was able to make a large recovery due to the events that happened during the last days of the slaughter, and the days right after the end of the genocide. Such events include help sent to them, their government being taken over, and Rwandian militia able to fight off murderers and help the country regain peace.
